Drama Classes in Sydney’s East: The Holiday Workshop Helping Kids Build Confidence Through Play

Looking for a school holiday workshop that builds confidence and creativity?

Shine Performance has you sorted, with just one exciting holiday workshop happening in the East this break, and trust us, it’s not one to miss!

Earlier this year, my 6-year-old joined one of Shine’s classes and had an absolute blast. From the moment she walked in, she was hooked. Vita, the powerhouse behind Shine, had this infectious energy that lit up the room, the kids gravitated towards her immediately. What really impressed me was how she gently drew out the quieter kids, giving them space to open up and actually want to join in. It was a joy to watch that transformation unfold right in front of me.

Drama is more than just play, it teaches kids to express themselves, work as a team, build resilience and grow in confidence. Whether your child is naturally outgoing or a little more reserved, drama gives them the tools to find their voice and shine in their own unique way.

This upcoming workshop is themed around the wonderful world of Roald Dahl, so expect heaps of imagination, quirky characters and plenty of giggles. If your kids love stories like Matilda, The BFG or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, they’re in for a treat.

Vita is also launching weekly drama classes next term — a great way to keep the momentum going and build friendships week after week. You can check out the details here.
